By using ClearSign, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need to provide the service.
Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google's authentication service (Firebase Auth).
Documents you upload: Text, images, or PDF files you submit for analysis are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. We do not store the raw content of uploaded files permanently. For paid plan users, we store the analysis results and a short preview of your input to power the dashboard and chat features.
Payment information: Payments are processed by Razorpay. We store your plan type, billing name, email, and phone number for order records. We never see or store your card details — these are handled entirely by Razorpay.
Usage data: We log the number of analyses performed, timestamps, and your subscription status in our Firestore database to manage credits and plan limits.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your uploaded documents are never used to train AI models.

Free users: Analysis results are not stored. Only your account profile and credit count are retained.
Paid users: Analysis results and chat history are stored in Firestore and accessible from your dashboard. You can delete individual analyses at any time from your dashboard.

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Firebase security rules, and HMAC signature verification for payments. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you not to upload documents containing highly sensitive personal data (e.g., government IDs, banking credentials) unless necessary.
